Pizazz It KOTM Kits ready for pick up

Your March kits are ready for pick up in the store!  Although this kit features a green theme, it is not overly St. Patrick's Day.  As a matter of fact, not one of my layouts is St. Pats themed.  It has some great embellishments and a fabulous alphabet that contains 2 (two!) sheets of alphas.  I was able to squeeze 4 layouts and 2 cards out of this kit.  I know you are going to love it!

Here is a photo of the kit:

And here are some sneak peaks.  Completed layouts and cards and on display at Pizazz It! Scrapbooks.  Enjoy!

Tator Tot Casserole

.....or Tator Tot Hot Dish for all my Minnesota friends!

I was looking for new recipes on the Internet and came across this recipe.  I know it has been around a while but have never made it.  Honestly, it is way over our fat and calorie limits, but I thought it was time for a change from grilled fish, baked chicken and steamed veggies.  My boys inhaled it.  You could easily make this a bit healthier by using lean hamburger and low fat/fat free ingredients.

Tator Tot Casserole
1 32 oz. bag frozen Tator Tots
1 pound ground beef
1 can cream of chicken soup
16 oz sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
1/4 cup chopped onion
Garlic salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Brown hamburger and onions.  Add garlic salt and pepper to taste.  Drain meat.  In a large bowl, mix hamburger, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.  Add 1/2 bag of tator tots to mixture.  Place in a sprayed 9x13 plan.  Top with remaining bag of tator tots.  Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.  Top with remaining 1 cup of cheese and bake an additional 15 minutes.

This dish could be easily adjusted to cook in your crock pot and is a great pot luck dish.

Enjoy!

LRS February Sneak Peaks

The Little Red Scrapbook February kit is full of rich, warm colors.  This kit featues Basic Grey's Origins and has some wonderful embellishments.  Just look at those felt sihlouettes, doilies and Petaloo flowers.  Yum-O!

And I have to say, the embellishment add on kit is a must!  I love the Making Memories metal butterflies and Maya Road trinket pins.

Here are my sneak peaks using this wonderful kit.  Full reveal will be posted in a couple of days.
