Little Red Scrapbook BLOG HOP

Photobucket

Welcome to Little Red Scrapbook's "Out with the Old, In with the New" Blog Hop!  With the start of the new year we all like to set goals and think of new ways to get organized.  With this in mind our talented Design Team has come up with some fun challenges that may help you get started.

Read below to find out all of the ways you can win:

STEP 1:  First you will need to leave a comment on the LRS blog and tell us what goal or organization idea you have for the New Year.  This will not only inspire all of us with your goal or idea, but it will also get your name entered into a random drawing for a chance to win the blue colored inspired “hodgepodge” prize. Pretty easy so far right!

STEP 2: Second you will need to visit all FOUR design team member blogs and leave a comment on EACH blog.  This is important so we know you have been to all of the blogs.  If you have left a comment on each of the blogs your name will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win the orange colored inspired “hodgepodge” prize.  Another easy peasy way to win!

STEP 3: Once you’ve done that, you will need to check out our Facebook page, and LIKE us. This will put your name in another random drawing for a chance to win the green color inspired “hodgepodge” prize.

STEP 4: For a chance to win the Love LRS Grand Prize head on over to our message board and say hello, then upload your project and/or layout for any of the design team challenges posted on their blogs to the “2012 Out with the Old, In with the New” gallery. The Blog Hop challenges will run from January 27th until midnight January 30th. You can enter as many times as you like. You do not need to be a subscriber to participate. The more entries, the more chances you have to win!

Then on February 1st, be sure to check out our Facebook page, or visit the LRS community or the LRS blog to see if you are one of the lucky winners!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello!  Thanks for taking the time to visit my stop on the Little Red Scrapbook Blog Hop!  In celebration of a new year, my challenge this month is to create a layout featuring something you would like to accomplish in 2012.  This can be a goal, resolution, something from your bucket list, etc.
My goal this year (as has been my goal for the past 13 years, Oy!) has been to learn to play the guitar.  Robert bought me a guitar when Kemper was a baby and I have always wanted to learn to play more than just a few self taught chords.  Maybe this year will be my year!!  Here is a layout I created using the January Little Red Scrapbook kit featuring Lily Bee's Memorandum/Head Over Heels line.  This kit is so versatile and I just love the look of the delicate Lily Bee patterns.
Here is my layout:
Journaling reads:  Someday I'll play you.  Someday I'll teach Kemper to play.  Someday we'll make beautiful music together.  Someday.....
I can't wait to see what you do with the challenge!
Beautiful LO! I dreamed of playing the guitar also. Since I played the oboe all through school, I thought it would be nice to play an instrument I could sing along with....good luck with your lessons!
Good luck learning the guitar! My learning goal for 2012 is long but the two biggest are to learn photoshop elements and my sewing machine.
What an awesome layout! I love the guitar, and never learned to play either. These kind of things are stuff I've always wanted to scrap about and never did. Now's the time huh? Thanks for the challenge and inspiration!
Me too! I've always wanted to know how to play. I've attempted but the hand positions are not easy. I dont think my fingers are long enough. Hope its your year to learn. Love the layout!
